Lightening Gel Glycolic acid 10% & Kojic Acid 1% (30 ml)

Glycolic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (A.H.A.) that occurs naturally in sugar cane. Kojic acid is an organic substance obtained from the natural fermentation of soybeans (paste and soy sauce) by some microorganisms of the genus Excessive exposure to the sun, advancing age, pregnancy and acne can cause the appearance of unsightly dark spots on the skin due to an excessive production of melanin by the melanocytes of the basal layer and an accumulation of pigment melanic in keratinocytes, the principal cells of the epidermis. The Glycolic and Kojic acid lightening gel is able to interfere with the excessive production of melanin by counteracting the oxidative activity of tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for the transformation of the amino acid tyrosine into melanin.
